Done Deal!

Another thing was removed from my to-do list! I was able to book my prenuptial photoshoot's photographer and I got Mr. Edmond from Nice Print! I am so happy that I'll have the same photographer for my wedding and prenup. I don't have to prepare myself for another stranger to take pics of me and hubby2b. I am worried on how it will come up because, let's say.. me and marlon are not the most serious person ever. I don't know how will we pose without laughing and making a fool of ourselves. I guess whatever happens happens. I just don't want our photographer to have a heart attack or nervous breakdown with just dealing with our foreseen uncooperative antics.. whatever.. right now, I am already apologizing. =p

So our prenup photoshoot would be on November 29, 2013 and hopefully abbie would already arrive by then coz I want her to be with us on that day. My sis-in-law can be scary sometimes so I need her to scare me. hahaha! omg! that's funny....

Lucky coz our makeup artist is also available for that day so hopefully nothing would come up and would compromise this event. I know a lot of unforeseen things might come up but hopefully nothing major would come. I am a very patient person but everything has limits. So yeah...

I just need to have a confirmation with the flowers. Another thing, I seriously regret not paying that much attention to whoever am I talking to when I had a conversation with eloquente people. Can you blame me? It was already past 6 am when we had that talk. Now I don't know whom to blame for forgetting to send me those sample setups from Eloquente. I remember that he was actually the one who told me that he'll email me the stuff but, bleh.. I don't know what happened. Marlon haven't called them yet for some reasons that I don't wanna fret about.

The kiddo loot items are done! I want to thank Jesy (Sunshine) for all the help! alabsyuu!!

We're half way done with our final guestlist. I am sorry for those who won't be invited but we're seriously restricting our guestlist to 150-160 guests. We don't have the budget to extend another 10 or 20 people coz it would cost us more one thousand pesos per added guest unless that person wants to chip in then sure why not! =p no seriously, I am never rude but for this day, I need my strict persona to come out. hehe.. its for our wallet's good.

there it is.. I might post like a wedding FAQs thingy for my guests to read so they have some guidelines on how to be on a wedding event. W@W is really a great resource for these type of things.

Nytie and until my next post. =p

Rundown Of Everything I've accomplished

So, its been i think four months since I last posted something here in this blog. In case you're curious if the wedding is still on, YES IT IS SOOO ON! I am just so busy with everything and I tried to handle another blog which is a conflict of interest with this blog so I kind of set this aside for a while. But now, I think I need to do some updating so I can keep up with things that I've accomplished and what has not. Here's a rundown of things that were already done. =)

Photo/Video/Prenup: BOOKED!
- supplier we got is Nice Print Photography. We still have no idea who'll be our team of photographers but hopefully we'll get Mr. Edmond or Mr. Nick because I seriously fell in love with their portfolio and Mr. Edmond was actually recommended to me by a previous customer whom we accidentally met here in Toronto. I am still waiting for their response regarding their availability so crossing my fingers and toes!

Giveaways: almost DONE!

- above is a sneak peek of how the wedding favors will look like. I love how the purple color stands out from the black box. Whatever is inside is for my guests to know =p but as of now, they are just almost done for I am still waiting for our monogram stamp to arrive. I wish it won't take that long because we're trying to send this back home by mid-June. We have a different giveaway for my principal sponsors and to the kiddos as well =) If you follow me at instagram, for sure you already saw it but if not, here's a pic of it. I just started doing that yesterday and I still got 3/4 of it to do..

.. hopefully the kiddos would like these simple stuffed animals.

HMU: Booked but just waiting to be reserved!
- I just remembered like months ago or maybe it was since last year. Someone requested to add me up at facebook. I ignored this person coz I seriously don't know him and didn't even dared to look at his profile. Then I dunno for some reasons, in between of me being so stressed because up until now we still don't have a supplier for our hair and makeup needs, I decided to troll around my fb requests and got intrigued by this person who requested to be connected to me. It turns out he's actually a makeup artist! His name is Erik and he is the other half of the froilanerik artistry duo together with froilan (hi sis! in case you might read this in the future) I decided to check out their website and I was soooo impressed by their portfolio and even happy that their expertise is AIR BRUSH makeup. I messaged Erik right away and asked him for his wedding package and if they are still available for my wedding date and boy I am happy that they are. So now I availed their services for my HMU for my wedding and for my prenup photoshoot as well. Can't wait to meet them and work with them.

Entourage Dress (Ladies/Girls): BOOKED!
- thanks to my beloved Haos for introducing me to Tita Pining. I was able to find someone who could make my laced-concept ento dresses and I seriously can't wait to see them myself. The only downside for this is their location is kind of far from my fiance's place so marlon struggled in getting my female ento to match his own availability so they could all go together for fitting and measurements. Big hug and kisses to ate sweet and soc for allowing marlon to borrow their van. =)

My Wedding Dress: OWNED!
- all thanks to my ninang and ninong to be, Tito Steve and Tita Rose. They actually allotted a weekend to bring me and my mom to Buffalo, NY to get a better deal for wedding dress. I got my precious at David's Bridal and I am so glad to be a David Bridal's Bride =) Unfortunately, due to both our family's superstitions regarding the do's and don'ts before getting married, I wasn't able to fit or even take a picture of my gown. I can tell you that this experience was not easy AT ALL! When we arrived at the David's Bridal, we didn't have any booked appointment so I have to wait for an available consultant for me to be served. I never expected us to go there so I was not aware that an appointment is a must. This is actually the worst feeling ever! I was waiting there in the corner seeing all these white/ivory dresses. I am actually freaking out! Hyperventilating.. Palpitating.. for weird and unknown reasons. I feel like I am drowning with all the white dresses that I am seeing and the waiting is not helping at all. My consultant Barbara is such a sweetheart and she assured me that she'll help me with the search and everything. Funny part is her realizing that I would be a weird client coz I am not allowed to fit whatever gown that I would be liking. We brainstormed on how it would work out and decided that I'll just choose a dress that I hate and fit that for size purposes. My mom and tita rose actually liked the look of that "hated" gown on me surprisingly but bleh, no.. the gown looked like a maternity gown with curtains! hahahah! excuse that nonconstructive criticism but that's how I see it. To cut the story short, we all fell in love with the gown that I got and I am so happy with the price as well. Oh did I tell you that it was my mom's gift to me? Basically, this trip is all good story. Only bad thing is, I still need to have it altered to my size and it would be done when I arrive in Philippines. I am anxious about this dress thingy.. so anxious that I can't even stop talking about it. *needs to stop!*

Veil: Bought!
- I am still waiting for it to arrive in the mail for I bought it from ebay. Hopefully it would look good so I don't have to deal with this again especially when I go back home. I want the minute wedding details to be out of my bucket list of things to deal with.

Cord: Half done!

- I decided to DIY our wedding cord. I remember I bought a lot of crystal beads from ebay way way before coz I wanted to try out making accessories again but failed to even start a project. Thank God I have them so I decided to make them instead. It has a personal touch which makes it special.

Eloquente: BOOKED!
- I guess marlon liked their food coz after the food  tasting, he immediately asked for a contract signing with them. We actually still got Hizon's as our another option for our LOL package but maybe he was also swayed by my convincing. =p I am still waiting for them to email me some of their sample set ups though and its taking soooo long!

.............
For now, those were the things that were off our gazillion list of things to accomplish. I am soooooo proud of my fiance for doing all of these. I am a skeptic bride... but he proved me wrong! =) glad that he did. My only problem is, as a typical guy, he's not someone who would go deep into details. I could understand that but it is somewhat annoying.. heheh! It makes me feel like I want to warp to the Philippines to be there with him so I could ask more questions to those people that he's dealing with. But, I trust him... he told me to trust him so I do.. =) yah heard mr. grimaldo, I TRUST YOU! amen!?

there you go *whew* I would update you guys with an in-depth post regarding our suppliers soon. For now, I need to head to bed coz I still have an early shift at work.

I still plan to make a RSVP form for this website, if the people in my guestlist decides to do their RSVP task through this website and also, I have to think of ways to make my big day FUN FUN and FUN!

=) deah
